Illawarra Golf Course (Illawarra Country Club Public Golf Course) is on the Illawarra Escarpment between Sydney and Wollongong and is one of the more challenging courses of this region. Illawarra is an 18 hole course with light undulation, dam and creek water hazards, doglegs and bunkers. The winds and even the fairways tend to be challenging, though the greens are usually kept in fine condition. The course is a good length and has some really long par 5s. While Illawarra is certainly a demanding course it is also quiet, and the many birds and other native fauna are ever present.

18 holes, Par 72, ACR 72, 5900 metres.
