Adam Scott's 76+ ft Eagle at Genesis Open Round 2
Australian Adam Scott needed something of a miracle to lift his chances of making the cut at the Genesis Open. Four dastardly bogeys in seven holes waylaid him as he began his second round, and he crashed to 5-over-par. He was four outside of the cut line.
Then there was a birdie on the 18th (his 9th hole) and on to this 76+ ft eagle on the par 5 first hole. [vid above]
Adam Scott won the 2013 Masters Tournament and was World No. 1 ranked golfer May - Aug 2014. He was the runner up in the 2012 Open Championship, missing it by one stroke to Ernie Els.
