Englishwoman Charley Hull has put herself in the mix through 36 holes at the AIG Women's Open after carding a bogey-free, 4-under 68 in the second round at Walton Heath Golf Club. The 27-year-old started slow on Friday, making eight pars and one birdie on the par-4 7th hole in her first nine holes to move to 2-under overall. After parring 10, she grabbed another birdie on 11 and then made three consecutive pars on 12, 13 and 14 before recording back-to-back birdies... Read more

Charley Hull and Lilia Vu sit in a share of first place on nine-under-par after three rounds of the AIG Women’s Open at Walton Heath.

Home favourite Hull fired a round of 68 (-4) on day three in Surrey to propel herself into contention at the final major of the year.

The three-time LET winner made a birdie on the first before dropping a shot on the second, she then made further birdies on eight and 11.  Read more

Ally Ewing was in complete control after her Friday 6-under 66 at the AIG Women’s Open, leading by five shots. But after stumbling to a 3-over 75 at Walton Heath in England, Ewing will tee off two shots out of the lead Sunday.

Charley Hull made one of the moves of the day, firing a 4-under 68 to grab a share of the 54-hole lead with Lilia Vu.  Read more

WALTON-ON-THE-HILL, England -- Lilia Vu moved into position to become the first American this century to win multiple women's majors in the same year.

She's got company atop the leaderboard in home favorite Charley Hull at the Women's British Open.

The final major of the year came to life Saturday at Walton Heath thanks to a third-round collapse from overnight leader Ally Ewing, whose 5-shot advantage lasted nine holes before she was swallowed up by a slew of chasers.  Read more
