Celine Boutier took another step towards claiming her first Major championship after a four-under-par 67 extended her lead at the Evian Championship to three shots heading into the final round.
In front of her home fans at Evian Golf Resort in France, the 29-year-old seized control in easy-scoring morning conditions with a super chip-in on the par-three 2nd kickstarting a supreme front nine which featured three more birdies. Read more

Ireland's Leona Maguire sits in fourteenth place on three under after a 67, eight shots behind the leader.

With a steady drizzle on Saturday, the leaderboard saw the rise of several players, yet one player stood atop the leaderboard as she continued her streak of rounds in the 60s. Frenchwoman Celine Boutier fired a 4-under 67 to maintain her Friday lead heading into the final day by three strokes at -11.
Boutier came quickly out of the gates with a chip-in birdie on No. 2 followed by birdies on 5, 7, and 9 to make the turn at -4. Her round slowed down as she made her only bogey of the day, and just her fourth bogey of the week, on the par-4 12th. She finished her second nine at even. Read more

Celine Boutier continued her fine form in France carding a 67 (-4) to hold a three-shot lead at the end of the third round of the Amundi Evian Championship.
The Frenchwoman, who led overnight at the midway mark, picked up where she left off yesterday with birdies at the second, fifth, seventh and ninth holes at Evian Resort Golf Club.
Boutier dropped her only shot of the day on the 12th hole but soon bounced back with her fifth birdie of the day to move to a total of 11-under-par and hold a three-shot lead with one round remaining at the fourth major of the year. Read more
