Isuzu Queensland Open - Andrew Evans meets the press
In the video above, Andrew speaks to the media following his win of the 2021 Queensland Open.
"I never thought it would happen", he says.
A tournament pro for more than eight years, he has been close to winning more than once but never "this close".
"It's pretty sweet to get over the line. Absolutely."
He talks through what may have been "the most important birdie of your life".
Andrew lives in Hurstville, Sydney, and practices at Bonnie Doon Golf Club.

Sydneysider Andrew Evans could barely believe the drought-breaking trophy he was holding at the Isuzu Queensland Open after fearing he might lose his tour card just weeks ago.
The journeyman pro was a worthy two-shot winner of his first title in a decade of striving and promptly cancelled his flight home so he could properly celebrate.
