Canizares and Kaymer share the lead

Martin Kaymer and Alejandro Cañizares will share the lead heading into the final round of the 2021 Austrian Golf Open as they both look to end a seven year winless run on the European Tour.

Cañizares has led since an opening 67 at Diamond Country Club and a 70 on Moving Day took him to nine under in his quest to be the 2021 Race to Dubai's first wire to wire winner.

Kaymer is a two time Major Champion but his last win was his emphatic 2014 triumph at the U.S. Open and he carded a third round 69 to join the Spaniard at the summit. Read more

Two-time major winner Martin Kaymer has moved into a share of the lead heading into the final round of the Austrian Open and has a great chance of ending his long run without a title.

The world No.99 was on top of the global rankings this time 10 years ago but he hasn't tasted victory since winning his second major championship at the US Open in 2014...

Martin Kaymer overcame a pair of bogeys to finish the third round of the Austrian Golf Open with a 69, giving the 11-time European Tour champ a piece of the 54-hole lead at Diamond Country Club near Vienna.
