Celine Boutier is back in a familiar spot of late on the LPGA Tour – the top of the leaderboard. After a Saturday 66 at the FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open pres. by Trust Golf, the 2023 Amundi Evian champion Boutier nabbed the 54-hole lead of an event for the second-straight week at -13, three strokes ahead of a duo of young guns each vying for their second LPGA Tour victory in a tie for second: Patty Tavatanakit and Maja Stark.  Read more

Celine Boutier holds a three-shot lead at the end of the third day of the FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open after firing a round of 66 (-6).

The Frenchwoman, who secured her first major title at last week’s Amundi Evian Championship, rolled in birdies on holes two, three, five and seven before dropping a shot on the ninth.

Boutier continued to impress with birdies on 12 and 14 followed by a bogey on 15 but she finished in style with back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18 for her round of six-under.  Read more

Celine Boutier inched closer to her second title in as many weeks after seizing a three-stroke lead following the third round of the Women's Scottish Open on Saturday in Ayrshire, Scotland.

Boutier, who captured her first major title at last week's Evian Championship in her native France, carded a 6-under-par 66 to boost her tournament score to 13-under 203 at Dundonald Links.  Read more

The Frenchwoman, who was tied for third after 36 holes, started strong with four birdies in her first seven holes before a bogey on No. 9 brought her back down to earth. Making the turn at 10-under two strokes behind then leader Stark, Boutier got it back under control with four more birdies...  Read more

Tavatanakit opened her week at Dundonald Links with rounds of 72 and 68 to sit in a tie for sixth at 4-under and began the third round eight back of the lead held by Hinako Shibuno. She started slow, bogeying her first hole of the day, but bounced back quickly with an eagle on the par-5, 3rd hole to move to 5-under. She grabbed a birdie on the par-5, 5th hole to get to 6-under and picked up another birdie on No. 9 to turn in 33, sitting at 7-under overall. Tavatanakit parred holes 10 and 11, making birdie on 12 to get to 8-under, and then recorded her second eagle of the day on the par-5, 14th hole, parring in for a 6-under 66, her second-lowest round of the 2023 season.  Read more
