VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Megan Khang birdied four of the last five holes for a 4-under 68 and a three-stroke lead Saturday in the CPKC Women’s Open.

Seeking her first LPGA Tour victory, Khang rebounded from bogeys on Nos. 10 and 12 with birdies on Nos. 14-16 and 18 — holing a 15-footer on the last.

“At the end of the day I’m just going to try my best to keep that same mindset, stay patient,” Khang said. “These fairways are tight and the greens are firm and really just kind of trust myself out there.”  Read more

Megan Khang has birdied four of the last five holes for a four-under 68 and a three-stroke lead in the CPKC Women's Open.

Australia's Hannah Green dropped to seventh with an even-par 72 taking her to three under after 54 holes, while Gabrielle Ruffels (71) is two shots further back in a tie for 11th.

Seeking her first LPGA Tour victory, Khang rebounded from bogeys on holes 10 and 12 with birdies on 14-16 and 18, finishing by holing a 15-footer on the last.  Read more

Vancouver (AFP) – A late birdie burst saw Megan Khang hold off a hard-charging Kim Sei-young on Saturday, taking a three-shot lead in the LPGA CPKC Women's Canadian Open over the South Korean whose two eagles included a hole-in-one.

America's Khang, chasing a first LPGA title, birdied four of the last five holes on the way to a four-under par 68 in the third round Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club.

She built an 11-under par total of 205 and despite a mid-round wobble ably withstood the pressure Kim piled on with a five-under par 67 for eight-under 208.  Read more

Megan Khang birdied four of her last five holes en route to a 4-under 68 on Saturday to stay atop the leaderboard after three rounds of action at the CPKC Women's Open in Vancouver.

After grabbing a one-stroke lead after two rounds, Khang totaled six birdies against two bogeys to move to 11-under 205 for the tournament. She holds a three-stroke lead over South Korea's Sei Young Kim, who matched Saturday's low round with a 5-under 67 at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club.  Read more
