A host of players looking to force their way into Captain Luke Donald’s team have made the trip to Albatross Golf Resort.
The D+D REAL Czech Masters is the penultimate opportunity for players to secure Ryder Cup points and earn automatic qualification.
Donald – who is in action this week on the DP World Tour alongside three of his Vice Captains – will then select a further six Captain’s Picks to complete his 12-man team to face the United States at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club next month. Read more

The D+D REAL Czech Masters – a tournament of the DP World Tour series, formerly the European Tour – will take place for the ninth time at the Albatross Resort in Vysoké Újezd, near Prague, from 24th to 27th August. For the first time, the $2 million prize money is up for grabs.
Another golf superstar will appear for the first time this year at the traditional Czech World Series tournament. They will be former world number one and current captain of the European Ryder Cup team, England’s Luke Donald, as well as two recent champions of The Open – Italian Ryder Cup hero Francesco Molinari (2018) and Irishman Shane Lowry (2019). Luke Donald will make his first appearance at the D+D REAL Czech Masters when the tournament returns to the fearsome Albatross Golf Resort this week.
The tournament takes on special significance because it is the penultimate qualifying event for the European Ryder Cup team.
Donald will announce the 12 men to take on the USA at the conclusion of next week’s European Masters. Much of the team has already taken shape but there will be several players in action this week who will hope to catch Donald’s eye. Read more
