Bexley Golf Club has a long and proud history of fostering golf and friendship for people in our local community. Such is the attraction of the “Friendly Club” many of members come from all corners of Sydney to be part of the Bexley golfing family.

Founded in 1939, Bexley Golf Club is one of Sydney’s more established clubs. Built on an old dairy farm, the gently rolling hills and green parkland provided the ideal site for a golf course.

Today the greens are the envy of other Sydney golf clubs while the kikuyu fairways and surrounds provide for year round quality playing surfaces.

The club is blessed to have as its caterers, The Rustic, which provides lunch daily and dinner Friday and Saturdays as well corporate and family functions.

Bexley is situated just fourteen miles south of Sydney central business district with great links that include the Kingsford Smith airport which is only three miles from Bexley itself and on the M5 east motorway.

Greg Norman, Peter Senior and Peter Lonard have all been tested around the tight tree-lined course.

Substantial renovations have taken place which has seen two new dams and fairway watering.

James Chandler named the suburb after his birthplace of Bexley in south east London, he bought Sylvester's farm in 1822. Now with a population of around 19000 and several parks in the area which is listed as the state heritage.
