Philosophy

"In the old days, the Australian mentality was if you wanted to be a great player you had to be a great swinger and the rest would take care of itself. However, in today's modern world of technology, players employ statisticians to tell you where their scoring is suffering so they can identify what areas need the most work or practice. My personal coaching philosophy comes from listening to clients constantly telling me they need help with their driving or short game. That's perfect for identifying areas to work on and I always try to give clients what they ask for, but amazingly I never have had anybody ask me to help them improve their scores. That is obviously how the game is measured and with my experience as a tour player, I can create personal game improvement strategies based on a short assessment with you."

Favourite Swing

"For me the mystique of Ben Hogan is one of the most talked about swings of all time. Hogan was years ahead of his time and did it all without modern day technology, but rather with feel and digging it out of the ground. He also had a tremendous resolve and the ability to demonstrate his superior shotmaking under the utmost pressure, which earned him his nickname "The Hawk".
