Powering through the Scottish winds on Friday, Hinako Shibuno maintained her first-round lead through 36 holes at the FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open presented by Trust Golf, getting to -12 overall after a 4-under 68 on the second day. It’s the third 36-hole lead/co-lead of Shibuno’s career, and the first time since the 2022 Chevron Championship where she’s opened with back-to-back rounds in the 60s. Read more

Hinako Shibuno produced a round of 68 (-4) on the second day to hold a two-shot lead at the FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open Presented by Trust Golf.
The major champion started with a bogey on the first but soon turned her day around with a birdie on the second before adding another on the fifth. Read more

An impressive back nine from Sarah Kemp has ensured the Australian remains in the mix after the opening round of the FREED Group Women's Scottish Open in Ayrshire.
Kemp made four birdies on the way home to finish with a three-under 69 that left her five behind leader Hinako Shibuno at Dundonald Links. Read more

Hinako Shibuno of Japan birdied three of her final four holes Thursday to take the lead after the first round of the Women's Scottish Open at Dundonald Links in Ayrshire, Scotland.
Shibuno fired an 8-under-par 64 that put her two shots clear of Madelene Sagstrom of Sweden. Read more
