BELMONT, Mich. -- After missing a 2-foot eagle putt on the first hole of a playoff, Jennifer Kupcho won the LPGA Meijer Classic on Sunday when Leona Maguire's 3-foot birdie try lipped out on the second extra hole.
Kupcho closed with a 1-under 71 to match playing partner Nelly Korda and Maguire at 18-under 270 at Blythefield Country Club. Maguire finished with a 65, and birdied both playoff holes. Read more

Jennifer Kupcho survived a roller coaster of a round to win the Meijer LPGA Classic with a birdie at the second playoff hole, denying 2021 champion Nelly Korda and Irish Solheim Cup star Leona Maguire.
After failing to clinch the playoff at the first hole -- where she missed an eagle putt from inside four feet, Kupcho two-putted from the fringe at the second playoff hole, again the par-five 18th, to seal it. Read more

Leona Maguire fell agonisingly short in her bid for a second LPGA Tour title as Jennifer Kupcho prevailed in a dramatic play-off to win the Meijer LPGA Classic in Michigan.
The American won with a birdie on the second extra hole after Maguire missed a short birdie putt to extend.

Leona Maguire produced a sensational final round charge but lost to American Solheim Cup rival Jennifer Kupcho after a three-way playoff in the Meijer LPGA Classic in Michigan.
The Co Cavan star went into the final round seven shots behind Nelly Korda on 11-under par but produced a birdie barrage on the final day at Blythefield Country Club.
The touring professional for the K Club birdied the first, then followed a bogey at the third with three-in-a-row from the fourth. Read more
