Nasa Hataoka powers ahead with a six stroke lead

Nasa Hataoka opened a six-stroke lead Saturday in the Marathon LPGA Classic, birdieing four of the last five holes for a 7-under 64.
A month after losing a playoff to Yuka Saso in the U.S. Women's Open at Olympic Club, Hataoka has led wire-to-wire at Highland Meadows to put herself in position for her fourth LPGA Tour victory...
Hataoka had a tournament-record 19-under 194 total. The 22-year-old Japanese player opened with a 10-under 61 on Thursday and had a 69 on Friday. She has played Nos. 14-18 in 4 under each of the three days. Read more

Japanese star Nasa Hataoka will take a commanding six-stroke lead into the final round of the LPGA Marathon Classic after firing a seven-under 64 on Saturday in Sylvania, Ohio.
The 22-year-old soared back up the leaderboard in the third round to reach a 19-under 194 total at the Highland Meadows Golf Club course.
Starting the day with a two stroke lead, Hataoka widened the gap by hitting 17 of 18 fairways and rolling in eight birdies... Read more

Japan's Nasa Hataoka fired a 7-under 64 on Saturday to build a six-shot lead after three rounds of the Marathon LPGA Classic at Sylvania, Ohio.
Hataoka carded eight birdies and one bogey during the solid round that gave her a 54-hole course record at 19-under 194 at Highland Meadows Golf Club.Elizabeth Szokol and Mina Harigae are tied for second. Szokol shot 67 and Harigae posted a 68.
But the pair are well behind the 22-year-old Hataoka, who hit 13 of 14 fairways and required just 29 putts during a round that tied for low of the day with Yuka Saso of the Philippines and Celine Boutier of France. Read more
