US Captain Davis Love III has finalised his team for the 2022 Presidents Cup, and they will be the youngest in team history

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – The United States Team for the 2022 Presidents Cup was finalized today, with Team Captain Davis Love III rounding out his 12-player team with six captain’s picks. Captain Love added Max Homa, Billy Horschel, Kevin Kisner, Collin Morikawa, Jordan Spieth and Cameron Young. The Presidents Cup will be contested at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, the week of September 20-25.
Four of the six captain’s picks will be making their Presidents Cup debut (Homa, Horschel, Morikawa, Young), while Kisner and Spieth return for their second and fourth appearances, respectively. Now complete, the 2022 United States Team is the youngest in team history with an average age of 29.6 years old. Read more

Not only does Davis Love III have the homefield advantage at the Presidents Cup later this month, but the captain of Team USA has a distinct edge in the talent department, as well.
The first six players for the American side qualified Aug. 21 via the Presidents Cup points standings – Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, Sam Burns, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau – leaving Love six captains picks for the biennial event comprised of a 12-person U.S. Team and a 12-person International Team (LIV Golf and European players, aside) to be held Sept. 22-25 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. Following its counterpart's announcement on Tuesday, the United States team revealed its six captain's selections for the 2022 Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow in two weeks. Captain Davis Love III dealt with twists and turns of his own as presumed pick Will Zalatoris bowed out of consideration following his withdrawal from the 2022 Tour Championship due to two herniated discs in his back.
In his place, Love's selections of Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Billy Horschel, Cameron Young and Kevin Kisner will don the red, white and blue in Charlotte. Read more
