Golf Australia reports that 16 golf clubs around NSW have received CBP grants to undertake a range of club facility improvement projects.

The projects include, variously, improvement of disability access, upgrades to toilet facilities, replacing doors or windows, concreting or resurfacing cart paths and car park access, building an equipment shed, refurbishing kitchen or cafe facilities, replacing and repairing sewerage systems, upgrades to irrigation and water use, and installing solar panels.

Stuart Fraser, CEO of Golf NSW, said the grants, although small, are a significant help for many clubs.

"The works to be undertaken by the successful clubs not only assist by improving their facilities but also help the sport grow through better access for all.

"Without the assistance of the NSW Government, many of the clubs simply couldn't complete these sorts of projects."
