Aussie Stephanie Kyriacou leads first round of ShopRite LPGA Classic

In her debut at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, Stephanie Kyriacou shined with a bogey-free 65 to hold her first 18-hole lead on the LPGA Tour at -6. The Australian’s round is not only the lowest opening score in her Tour career but also a career-best since participating in her first LPGA Tour event, the 2019 ISPS Handa Vic Open. The 65 is only her second sub-70 round this season, with her first in the JTBC Classic. Read more

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Australian rookie Stephanie Kyriacou shot a 6-under 67 on Friday to take the first-round lead in the ShopRite LPGA Classic at Seaview Hotel and Golf Club.
The 21-year-old Kyriacou, a two-time winner on the Ladies European Tour, teed off at 7:15 a.m. in the first group of the day off No. 1 on the Bay Course, before the tricky wind began to blow off Reeds Bay. Read more

Stephanie Kyriacou, buoyed by some advice from Hall-of-Famer Karrie Webb, fired a six-under-par 65 on Friday to grab the first-round lead at the ShopRite LPGA Classic.
Australia’s Kyriacou, 21 and ranked 117th in the world, had six birdies on the Bay Course at Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey, and was one shot in front of fellow rookie Frida Kinhult. Read more
