Weather warning: Coldest night in 74 years

The Old Course has been closed for much of the week due to the weather.
Conditions at the time of the message were minus-eight Celsius wind chill, which translates as 17 degrees Fahrenheit.

Snow warnings are in place until Sunday as Scots brace for the coldest February night in 74 years - with temperatures to plunge as low as -20C. It comes as parts of the country saw 14 inches of snow with weather warnings in place for three days.
Meanwhile the R&A have said they are cautiously optimistic about having a "full scale championship" in July, while having "robust plans in place for a reduced-capacity or behind-closed-doors model" if that is needed. Link here.
