Tiger and Charlie Woods at the PNC

Charlie Woods' eagle may be the stand-out shot from the 2020 PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida. It was the only eagle of the day, from about 175 yards on the par 5 3rd.

This was the first time that Tiger Woods had played together with his son, now 11 years old, at a major tournament.

Justin Thomas and his father, Mike, ultimately won the championship, with team Woods coming in 7th.  However it was the sight of Tiger and Charlie playing together that 'stole the show' for many.  Tiger's pride in his son's golfing prowess was evident, as he fist-pumped every time Charlie sank a putt. They often seemed to move in perfect sync.

Established in Florida in 1995,  the PNC was the Father Son Challenge through until 2020. Major winners of The Players compete, each together with a son, daughter or other close family member.
