Sweden's Linn Grant holds a two shot lead ahead of Jason Scrivener, entering the final round at Halmstad

Sweden’s Linn Grant continued her excellent form and fired a round of 66 (-6) to climb to the top of the leaderboard with one round remaining at the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed.

The 22-year-old began the day two shots behind leader Jason Scrivener on 10-under but soon rolled in back-to-back birdies on three and four.

A sensational eagle putt on 11 put her firmly within reach of the lead before birdies on 15 and 18 ensured the two-time LET winner put her at the top of the table on 16-under-par.  Read more

Local favourite Linn Grant will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the 2022 Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed as she bids to become the DP World Tour's first female winner.

The 22-year-old Swede fired a flawless 66, which included a tremendous eagle from 75 feet on the 11th and four birdies, to get to 16 under par and overtake halfway leader Jason Scrivener at the top.

Australian Scrivener had led for most of the day and found himself three shots clear at the turn, but he missed good chances to extend his advantage and a double bogey at the short 16th saw him fall from the summit.  Read more

Sweden’s Linn Grant, a 22-year-old professional, shot a third round 66 for a 54 hole total of 16 under par at the $2 million Volvo Cars Scandinavian Mixed hosted by Henrik and Annika at Halmstad Golf Club, Sweden, co-sanctioned by both the DP World Tour and Ladies European Tour (LET).

A bogey free round of four birdies and an eagle on hole 11 saw the LET rookie take a two-shot lead into tomorrow’s (Sunday) final round.  Read more
