Cut to one "I see it but I don't believe it" moment, here
From PGA TOUR Daily Wrap-up, by The AP:
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Will Zalatoris had the most money and the best world ranking of anyone without a PGA TOUR victory. He changed that Sunday by winning the FedEx St. Jude Championship without making birdie in a three-hole playoff.
He moved to No. 1 in the FedExCup as the TOUR heads to the second FedExCup Playoffs event at the BMW Championship, where the top 70 will compete.
Heartache in two previous playoff losses this year — one in a major — turned into relief for Zalatoris after a wild finish at TPC Southwind. It ended when he took a penalty drop from the rocks that frame the par-3 11th green and holed a 7-foot bogey putt to beat Sepp Straka. Read more

It all started when eventual winner Will Zalatoris hit a 10-foot par putt on the 72nd hole, turned to face either his caddie or the crowd and screamed -- and I mean screamed -- "What are they going to say now?!"

A two shot penalty from Saturday’s third round shook up the leaderboard during Sunday’s final round of the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship and set up for a thrilling finish...
After tying the 18th twice, Zalatoris claimed victory on the third playoff hole, the par-3 11th, after a few lucky bounces on a rock wall kept his ball dry, while Straka found the water off the tee. The win is the 25-year-old’s highly-anticipated first on Tour after he had finished runner-up four times in his previous 55 PGA Tour starts. Read more
