The Hume and Hovell walking track begins in Yass and follows the route of explorers Hamilton Hume and William Hovell on their 1824 expedition to Port Phillip which ends at the Hovell tree in South Albury.
In 2000 the gymnasium had a complete makeover costing 2m, it features, four squash courts, health and fitness centre, swimming pool and snooker.
Also available at the resort is fishing, two elevated bowling greens and much more. The resort provides conferencing and banqueting with fourteen rooms, they can offer board meetings to gala dinners for up to 500 guests.

Albury was made a city in 1946 and now has a population in excess of 51,000. A major regional centre in NSW, it is located on the Hume Highway on the Northern side of the Murray River.
The first elected foundation president was John Chenery, an auctioneer who chaired the first meeting in 1902. The Commercial club was adopted to cater and indulge the professional and business men of the day, in the men's only club.
A bowling green was sown in 1935 by George Galo and Albury now boasts over 30,000 members of both men and women.
