Avondale Golf Club

Avondale Golf Club, established in 1926, is a private members' club located in Pymble on Sydney's Upper North Shore. The 18-hole, par 71 championship course spans 6,110 meters and is renowned for its tranquil bushland setting, free from road boundaries, providing a serene golfing experience. Designed by Eric Apperly and later updated by architects Ross Watson and Neil Crafter, the course offers a challenging layout with notable holes like the risk/reward 17th and the demanding 18th. Ranked among Australia's top 100 golf courses, Avondale is also recognized as a Certified Audubon Sanctuary, reflecting its commitment to environmental conservation.
