Barwon Heads Golf Club

The Barwon Heads Golf Club, located on the picturesque Bellarine Peninsula, offers eighteen magnificent holes of links golf and regularly rates in Australia's top golf courses. The club also offers a challenging nine hole par 3 short course.

The nearby Bass Strait and sand dunes along with the weather conditions provide a links reminiscent of famed Scottish links courses. The undulating terrain, in harmony with the natural features of the land will ensure that you will remember time spent at Barwon Heads. While not especially long, the Links will test golfers of all standards with cleverly positioned hazards, subtle slopes and greens, along with challenging tee positions. The wind ensures that the course rarely plays the same way twice in the one week.

Comprising three levels, the Clubhouse provides nineteen bedrooms with ensuites, lounges, bars, dining rooms and a billiards room, and has the old world charm of the historic clubhouse with magnificent views over the course, Bass Strait and the Rip at Port Phillip Heads. Barwon Heads Golf Club is a semi-private golf course however limited opportunities exist for non-members to play.
