Located 378 Km from Sydney via Princess highway, Bermagui is an attractive fishing port and is on the estuary of Bermagui river in the Bega Valley shire. It is said that 12 miles offshore is the edge of the continental shelf which makes it an excellent spot for fishing. The Blue pool is a must see attraction of the Sapphire coast and is situated off Pacific drive at the bottom of a striking rocky cliff.

There are sloping fairways with a selection of blind spots to the first class greens, it is not a heavily bunkered course
but there are numerous strategically placed sand traps. Water is a distinctive feature on a number of the holes, on the 15th the fairway is a lake. Be mindful that Bermagui is a serious walk with an abundance of hills, however you can enjoy the stunning views and flourishing bird life.

In 2017 in a star studded group of Ladbrokes Legends Tour Stars, Peter Albert Charles Senior shot a tournament low of 5 under par 67. Senior cruised round the tricky layout of Bermagui, confirming his sharp iron play and consistent putting was key in mastering the small and slick greens. Now retired Peter Senior has 34 professional wins to his career, including more than 20 tournaments around the world.

The port was established in 1830 primarily for the local dairy farmers. One notable person was Zane Grey who wrote of his adventures in a book called An American Angler in Australia (1937 ). A wharf was built in 1870 for the coastal trade and Bermagui is located just 34 Km from Narooma. It has a population of around 1,536 and in the spring the warm currents bring martin and yellowfin tuna. The striking and picturesque small seaside town is fast becoming an esteemed stop on the Ladbrokes Legend Tour which has expanded to a two day event due to the favourable feedback received during 2016 .
