Camperdown Golf Club

Golf at the present site commenced in 1950, however it had been played in Camperdown for the preceding fifty years. Originally play was by invitation only on a private nine hole course at “Talindert”, a grand property east of Camperdown.

In 1921 the Camperdown Golf Club was formed with play at the Talindert site. The original membership numbered some thirty men and women with the first President being Sir Chester Manifold.
