Gympie Golf Club

Gympie Golf Course is a privately owned and operated golf course. It is located at the northern entrance to the historic gold mining city of Gympie and was opened in 1930.

Visitors are welcome to come and play a round of social golf every day.

The Gympie Golf Course is a well maintained 18-hole championship par 70 course. The total distance of the course is 5,560 metres with the front nine holes being 2,671 metres/par 34 and the back nine holes 2,889 metres/par 36. Slope rating is white 115 & Red 120.

The course has a natural bush setting with undulating fairways and tricky pars that provides players of all skill levels with a challenging and rewarding experience. Boasting a variety of wildlife including birds, kangaroos and lizards.

The course has great pars and features water hazards on a number of holes. Irrigation to both tees and greens is with treated water from the Gympie Regional Council’s treatment works.

Gympie Golf Course is the home of Ian Baker-Finch, British Open Champion, 1991, who was the Trainee Professional Golf Pro from 1976-78.
