Hawarden Golf Club

This is a country golf club located in the Hurunui Basin in a picturesque setting, surrounded by farmland with a backdrop of hills and mountains.

While not on the main travel routes it is never-the-less well worth a visit.It is considered to be a very well manicured course with exceptional detail being paid to its greens and fairways which are lined by varieties of trees adding texture and perceived obstacles.

Visitors are often pleasantly surprised at its standard of maintenance which is done by a team of experienced and dedicated grounds people. Challenge is provided by the course being laid out on two levels, with a creek located on the lower level along with two greens and the rest of the course on the upper level having its own interest and challenges.
