Lake Kununurra Golf Club

Established in 1965, not long after the large food producing areas of the Ord Irrigation Scheme were opened, the golf course was developed in stages and is now of 18 holes, 6035 meters long and par 72, currently with an ACR of 69. Despite the small number of members, and with all work being volunteer labour, the course of natural grass and sand greens is in very good order. Set on the shores of Lake Kununurra, the golf course presents plenty of challenges on the back nine where water is in play on 7 of the holes! The main season is April to the end of October, with an 18 hole (and the occasional 27 hole) competition every Sunday morning. 8am draw and shotgun start. Visitors are welcome to play on the course (a green fee or competition fee is payable) and those with a club handicap may play in all competitions.
