The club was formed in 1941 with a Par 60 for men and a Par 62 for women course centrally situated on the historic Cooks River just 11 short kilometres from the Sydney Business District and 4 kilometres from the airport.
Although it is a shade less than 4000 metres long it is a demanding course which requires accurate tee shots and is great for developing the golfers short game.
