St John Golf Course
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the St John Golf Course at The Heritage Golf & Country Club is Australia’s first private Nicklaus ‘Signature’ course. Stretching 6,670 meters along the Yarra River, this par-72 championship course, with an Australian Course Rating of 74 from the Gold tee, leverages the Yarra Valley’s natural contours. Sculpted fairways, water features, strategic slopes, mounds, and bunkers create a challenging yet rewarding experience. Immaculate greens, generous fairways, paved cart paths, and meticulous landscaping ensure a captivating round for players of all levels.
Henley Course
Across the Yarra, the Henley Course, designed by Tony Cashmore in consultation with Nicklaus Design, offers a traditional links-style contrast to St John’s stadium layout. Nestled within oxbow meanders and Warrandyte State Forest, Henley features flawless couch fairways grown on a sand base, vibrant wildlife, and picturesque roughs. Its tranquil setting and meticulous maintenance make it a hidden gem within The Heritage’s stunning landscape.
